Fiber Built Sensor Mat and Frame fully assembled with built-in electronics
-GSA Sensor Mats feature a massive solid acrylic glass 1/2 inch thick plate to protect the internal electronics.
The construction is so sturdy you can drive a 10 ton truck over it!
When you consider that the force of a club on the mat can be as high as 4000 pounds per square inch,
you'll appreciate the need for a very strongly constructed product that can withstand these forces if it is to last.
The GSA Pro Mat features FiberBuilt true feel grass mat panels.

The GSA PX5 is the world's first true 3D camera system at anywhere near this price.

Line Scan Camera Trigger
An alternative to the TX optical sensor camera trigger is to use a special third camera known as a line scan camera.
The GSA line scan camera operates at over 3000 scans per second and generates a trigger signal to the ball tracking cameras as soon as a golf ball enters it's field of view.

IR Reflex Sensor ball tracking for
vertical launch angle plus ball speed plus ball path
The VX launch monitor sensor array uses IR reflex technology to measure ball vertical launch angle, ball speed and path.
The device can be added to the PX2 club tracking pad or can be used as a stand alone system.
The sensor's high speed ADC (Analog Digital Converter) is capable of capturing 800 samples of a ball travelling at 170 mph.
The device is embedded in a fairway extension grass panel and features a USB connector to the PC.

Pros and Cons of this system compared to other GSA systems
Pros: System actually measures ball spin as opposed to calculating it from from club head data.
Even though ball spin axis tilt is a product of relative-to-path club face angle at impact to ball, there is virtually no system on the market that can measure the actual spin rate as such.
Please note: It is important to differentiate between the terms "calculated" and "measured".
